In 2007, The United Federation of Teachers (UFT) awarded  Chinese American Parent-Student Council (CAPSC) with the coveted John Dewey Award, an annual award honoring excellence in education, during its Annual SpringEducation Conference.

 

CAPSC was honored to have been recognized by  an prominent and influential organization like the UFT, an organization comprised of  education and healthcare professionals that works tirelessly in strengthening communities and advocating for children and their education.
