In 2016, we devised a Public Private Philanthropic Partnership (PPPP) model, which stresses Private enterprise-driven Partnership with the Public sector to promote public welfare (Philanthropy), to promote and advocate SDG 5: achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls. We have organized charity fundraising events and have since donated 400,000 USD for past three years in support of the work of UN Women China.
The PPPP model initiative allows contributions from individuals and private companies, becoming the main source of funds for the implementation of the SDGs by the United Nations. Our successful PPPP model in China is in response to the call of UN Secretary- General, António Guterres, and the establishment of the Global Investors for Sustainable Development (GISD). CAPSC has been working on an advocacy engagement program to devise and implement concrete and feasible solutions to bring forth social and economic impact, attracting countless small and mid-size enterprises to support the integral work of the United Nations advance the achievement of the 17 SDGs
